January 2026 Proclaimed Crime Stoppers Month
John Vetter and Kyle MacDonald of the Northern BC Crime Stoppers were in attendance at the January 12, 2026 Dawson Creek Council Meeting to proclaim January 2026 as Crime Stoppers Month in Dawson Creek.
In 2025, the group received 980 tips across Northern BC, 120 of those were from Dawson Creek and the Peace country, with 50 of those tips going to the North District Major Crimes Unit. They provide an important service to our community and we are grateful for the work that the volunteers do in helping to stop crime in Dawson Creek and the surrounding area.
